Stewardship Monitoring Blitz

Date: 11/2/2019
Time: 9:00 AM -
Location: Sherman Senior Center

Stewardship monitoring (walking the property lines of our current conservation holdings) is something that Naromi is required to do each year.  It ensures that we are maintaining the conservation value of our properties and keeping them intact for future generations.
Naromi is convening a Monitoring Blitz on Saturday, November 2 starting at 9:00 AM starting with a brief meeting followed by field visits to Naromi properties throughout Sherman.  Breakfast refreshments and a light lunch are provided.

Students are welcome!  Keep in mind anyone under 16 should have a parent/adult partner.

If you cannot come on November 2, you can still participate! You may monitor your assigned property as long as at least one person on your team feels comfortable with how to complete a field visit. Monitoring visits are best after the leaves come down, but before the snow flies.

Would you like to be a Naromi Land Trust Steward and help Naromi inspect its properties? Sign up today for this training and for the opportunity to be outdoors, get some good exercise, and see some of Sherman's special places up close and personal.

Contact us an either via email at office@naromi.org or call 860-354-0260 to register as a Naromi Steward today.
