Founded in 1968, Naromi Land Trust is a 501 (c)3 organization
dedicated to preserving open spaces, farmland, ridges
and scenic vistas that define the rural character of
the town of Sherman, Connecticut.
The name Naromi is derived from the Naromiyocknowhusunkatankshunk
Brook, a native American name meaning “water from
the hills…”
